Project Description:
A website Lakeland Walker Magazine. They were the only dedicated walking magazine that solely covered the Lake District. Because of the diversity of the Lake District, they needed a website that was a central resource for walkers as well as an online platform to promote their magazine.
I created promotional areas that mimicked web banners, but were updatable via the CMS.
Elements were inspired by the magazines content, so there was a seamless flow between the magazine and website. For example, the walks all had a difficulty icon system and fact files for quick looks at the walks information.
